TECHNOLOGICAL BREAKTHROUGH AGAINST MICRO-ORGANISMS

New chemical and green product ranges known as “Residual Barrier Technology” (RBT) has recently been released after continuous research and new technological development to provide sanitary protection against reducing the large number of viable micro-organisms on contaminated surfaces. The product is UK manufactured and distributed by RBT247 in South Africa.

The effect of some pathogens can be fatal; particularly to the elderly, new born and vulnerable adults and within the agriculture environment can lead to use livestock or harvest losses.


Residual Barrier Technology” improves hygiene and reduces the risk of contamination and infection. The core part of our product is ‘antimicrobial’ - a substance that eradicates or inhibits the growth of micro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi or protozoa.

This product has been clinically proven to also obliterate bacterial pathogens and spoilage organisms, yeast, mould and viruses. Due to the special formulation, the product contains less harmful chemical ingredients, is more effective and has a lower burden on the environment.

A “Complete Food Hygiene System” has now emerged in the market and apart from being declared “non hazardous” and having no significant toxicological risk, RBT247 is also environmental friendly.

The biocidal compounds we use undergo a special production procedure and this builds a stabilised micelle structure that is food safe, animal friendly and not harmful to humans. RBT-247 has a strong (not permanent] binding attraction to surfaces (creating an active barrier membrane) without any loss of its anti-microbial efficacy,” according to Dr Swartz.
